Celebrating 10 Years of Canadian Education in France
A Canadian Bilingual Education in the Heart of Paris

Welcome to the Canadian International School of Paris
The Canadian International School of Paris—a little piece of Canada in the heart of Paris—opened its doors in September 2015. As the first Canadian school in France, we remain proud of what that milestone represents: a commitment to offering the very best in English and French bilingual education to Canadian, French, and international families.
Nowhere else in Paris will you find the bilingual and bicultural experience our school offers. Our integrated approach—one curriculum taught in two languages—goes beyond academic achievement. We encourage students to explore their full potential through creative, artistic, and athletic programs that build confidence and prepare them to thrive on the international stage.
As a certified British Columbia offshore school, we follow the curriculum approved by the Ministry of Education of British Columbia, Canada, which is recognized globally for its academic excellence and student-centred approach. Our school undergoes annual government inspection, and all of our teachers meet the province’s professional certification standards.
We offer more than an education. We provide a foundation of global citizenship, lifelong learning, and a sense of belonging that stays with our students long after they leave our classrooms.
A Pathway for Every Learner - Preschool to High School
We welcome students from preschool through secondary school with small class sizes and personalized attention that supports every stage of development.
Daily instruction in both English and French builds strong language skills and intercultural understanding. Our balanced approach encompasses the arts, sports, and leadership opportunities, helping students develop into capable, compassionate individuals who are ready to contribute to the world around them.

OUR VALUES

Our mission
For over a decade, our school has provided families with a distinctive educational experience rooted in Canadian values and academic excellence. Now, with a new name, a new campus, and a growing international community, our mission enters a new phase:
To deliver a high-quality Canadian bilingual and bicultural education rooted in strong academic standards, personalized support, and global engagement. We empower each student to explore their passions, reach their potential, and grow in a nurturing yet intellectually ambitious environment.

Our Pedagogical Framework
Our programs are built on a dynamic STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Design and Mathematics), delivered through an interdisciplinary and student-centred model. Learning is active, creative, and purposeful, with a strong emphasis on autonomy, critical thinking, and curiosity.
Instruction is provided daily in both English and French, creating a truly bilingual and bicultural learning environment. This dual-language model not only strengthens linguistic fluency but also cultivates cultural agility, a key factor in thriving in today’s interconnected world.

Our vision
To be a leading Canadian school in Paris, internationally recognized for our rigorous bilingual program, inclusive learning environment, and commitment to academic, artistic, and athletic excellence.
We prepare students to succeed at top universities sound the world and to become thoughtful, resilient, and globally minded citizens, ready to lead with confidence in a rapidly changing world.
Why Choose Us?
At our school, we believe in the power of education to open doors — not just to universities but to new ideas, cultures, and possibilities. As part of a globally respected system, we are proud to offer families a Canadian approach to learning that balances academic excellence with care, inclusion, and a sense of curiosity.
Canada is internationally recognized as one of the top-performing education systems, consistently ranking at the top of OECD assessments and outperforming countries such as the United Kingdom and the United States. Canadian graduates are celebrated for their critical thinking, adaptability, and civic engagement — qualities nurtured in a system that focuses not only on what to learn but also on how to learn.
Today, more than 20 countries host international schools delivering provincially certified Canadian curricula, reflecting the trust and demand for this forward-thinking model. We follow the curriculum of the Province of British Columbia, known worldwide for its student-centred design, academic rigour, and innovative STEAM-based learning.
We recognize that each child learns in their own way and brings a unique voice to the classroom. Building strong, respectful relationships between students, teachers, and families is at the heart of how we support every learner. We create the conditions for students to feel seen, supported, and challenged — and to grow with confidence, both academically and personally.
We prepare students to thrive at leading universities in Canada, France, and around the world — and, more importantly, to navigate a changing world with purpose, resilience, and a deep sense of who they are.
Diversity in School
At our school, diversity is not just something we acknowledge — it’s something we actively embrace. Our students come from a wide range of cultural, linguistic, and social backgrounds, and this richness is reflected in the daily life of our classrooms and community.
We believe every student should feel safe, seen, and valued. That’s why we are committed to creating an environment where differences are respected, voices are heard, and all learners have the opportunity to thrive.
Our approach is guided by the principles outlined in the British Columbia School Act, which affirms that the purpose of education is to help every learner develop their potential and contribute to a healthy, democratic, and inclusive society.
By removing barriers and fostering inclusion, we ensure that no student’s background, identity, or learning style limits their access to success — academically, socially, or personally.

As we prepare to leave France, I find myself filled with a sense of nostalgia. I want to thank the school for the care, dedication, and special attention you have devoted to my children. Your support has made a significant difference in their journey, and I am deeply grateful. My son has already asked if we can return one day to visit the school!
Parent, Grades 7 & 12 - Brazil, 2025
With a heart full of gratitude, I want to express my deepest thanks for the incredible support and generosity you extended to our family two years ago. Your decision to enrol my daughter during such a challenging time in our lives had a profound impact on our family. The warm and welcoming atmosphere of your school made a significant difference, providing a haven where my daughter thrived both academically and emotionally. The care and attention she received at your school were invaluable, especially during the difficult period following the war in Ukraine… The memories and experiences we have gained will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We will always cherish the friendships we have made and the sense of belonging we felt within your school. We will always carry the warmth and kindness of your school with us. I want to say a big THANK YOU to you and all the teachers for the incredible support over the last two years.
